Looks like Jyetech recently has released a new LCR meter: https://jyetech.com/m162-lcr-meter/
Full schematics in the link, uses a STM32F303CC. Banggood sells it for 50us$ (plus a 6us$ case).

Specs:
- R, |Z|: 0.1Ω - 20MΩ
- C: 1pF - 20000μF
- L: 1μH - 20000H
- Q, D: 0 - 10000
- Θ: -90° - 90°
- Accuracy: About 1% (tested for resistance 1Ω - 1MΩ)

I was browsing AliE for newstuff and just found out about that little LCR meter. Has anyone here got their hands on a copy and would mind sharing his thoughts? Seems like the "ultimate" low-cost LCR solution for the hobbyist.

It's the first time I've seen this. One thing that stands out from the spec is the maximum measurement frequency of 1kHz (100Hz and 1kHz available). On the face of it, this could be a limitation for a lot of high frequency parts. The DE-5000 (around twice the price but fully cased) goes to 100kHz.
Best Regards, Chris

I work mostly with RF, and very often use inductors smaller than 1uH. When I saw this video:

where he measures short pieces of wire of 20 and 40nH (towards the end of the video), I was hooked, and immediately ordered one.

But when I got it,  it won't measure such low inductances..
On the video, there is a prominent caption stating "Measurement frequency: 10kHz", however mine offers only 100Hz and 1kHz.
Could this be just the wrong version of firmware? Or has the hardware changed? The PN on the board is slightly different than that on the video and the picture on Aliexpress?

I asked in the youtube comments, and jye replied that the board is the same, just some components have changed. They promised to publish the needed modification of HW and FW.
