new killer scope in town - a true game changer from R&S - RTB2002 & RTB2004
electronix27:
I was told personally via phone R&S was changing policy how they deal with individuals. As far as fully stocked, didn’t find this to be the case.

You are wrong. When I had a problem with my RTB last year I contacted R&S and they told
me that they did not talk with me because I am not a company.
I had to talk with the company that sold the scope to me!

Gribo:
Hello all,
I have an RTB2004, and I'm trying to grab a screenshot via SCPI commands. I'm trying to set the storage location to /USB_FRONT, but the unit can only save the screenshots to the internal storage.
Obviously, setting it to USB_FRONT works through the touchscreen and setting the location manually.
I'm on FW version 02.400.
Here are the commands I use:
EXP:SCRS:DEST /USB_FRONT
HCOP:DEST MMEM
MMEM:NAME 'FILENAME' (No extension here, otherwise I get FILENAME.PNG.PNG which cannot be deleted).
HCOP:IMM
If the destination is anything but /INT, I get a 200, "Execution error"
Fenstergucker:
Hello Gribo,
these commands work for me:
--- Code: ---EXPort:SCRSave:DESTination "/USB_FRONT"
MMEMory:CDIRectory "/USB_FRONT"
MMEMory:NAME "Screen"
HCOPy:IMMediate
MMEM:CAT? "/USB_FRONT/*.*"
40960,2088968192,"SCREEN.PNG,,35478"
--- End code ---

So you wrote a program that talk via network with the RTB? Why did you not ask
it to send you the picture direct?
sprintf(buf,"HCOP:DATA?\n");
write(s,buf,strlen(buf));
