I've been using my Zoyi meter for a few days now and I'm not unhappy with it. It's more than enough for my repairs. For more professional tasks, it's clearly not very reliable. However, to know if a capacitor is good or bad, a resistor is good, or a coil is in perfect condition, it's sufficient, and for its price, it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. Regards.

Who saw what changes after upgrading to firmware 1.07?

It seems to be faster in measurements, but there isn't much difference, at least I haven't noticed anything special.

With firmware 1.0.7 there is also no DCR mode.

Does everyone have a voltmeter by default, has different readings in forward and reverse polarity and requires calibration? And the battery calibration mode does not work in closed mode.
I checked it out. Glitches with the battery tester are in the firmware ZT-DQ02_v107. 106 everything works fine

Hello colleagues, has anyone else updated their Zoyi DQ02 to version 1.0.7? I have tried measuring the battery resistance and it does not work. I have tried going back to version 1.0.6, which was previously working, and it still does not work. Can anyone try this on their DQ02 to see if it works for you or if it only happens to mine? The other functions work perfectly. Best regards.

This is a reminder for the user tszaboo that you already have a Uni-T 612, that you bought recently (used), for a good price, you barely use it, and you don't need another cheap LRC meter.

Just bought UT622E for 300+$  ???

I turned it back on and as if by magic it started measuring batteries and battery resistance again. Regards.

It's a good meter, but for $300, in my opinion, there are better ones, such as the PeakTech 2170.

before suggesting  check some teardowns of some lcr's

the Peaktech 2170 is a 2 chip solution like the De-5000, or similar Cirustek chipsets

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/reviews/some-photos-from-a-peaktech-2170-teardown/

we already know a few models and brands with theses ic's

UT-612  not he 622 series, DE-5000, peaktech 2170, mastech ms5308 ...

pls this is a thread about the Zoyi ZT-DQ01 and ZT-DQ02

 New firmware v1.0.8
 1. Add low milliohm interference bottom number reset, 2. Add large measurement inductance range switching prompt

del ".txt"

 Comment from mydigit.cn

DQ01 02 has upgraded the firmware.
1. Added the function of clearing small resistors, inductors and capacitors.
2. Fixed the problem of incorrect automatic range measurement of 5 to 6 resistors.
3. The value of the screening function has been increased from 0 to 9 repeat cycles.
Upgrading this firmware requires recalibration of the three short-circuit resistors of 10 milliohms, 100 milliohms and 1Ω.

What the hell... Here again we need calibration after firmware update  :o. It happened before with MD1  :--

On a real LCR, open/short calibration is needed frequently. This toy needing it after a firmware upgrade isn't very exciting.

just a matter of getting theses parts ...  i would not criticizes as much,  but if the warning is issued,  it's better than not knowing

to me having a possibility to calibrate is better than nothing, or not having the possibility of doing it yourself ?

still happy with it

just try to calibrate an Sencore lc102   .... you have at least 25-26 trimpots in it , and need much more materials to do so,  loll

Thank you for the info on the firmware links.

It seems that the old Zotek website is going down and the link to download the firmware is not available anymore as indicated above ( http://www.szzotek.com/h-col-159.html ).

And the new website allows to download the firmware for v1.07 only. at https://zotektools.com/products/zoyi-zt-dq02/
Older versions and the new v1.08 are not offered there.
