Resistance fluctuating on the mega-ohm range is something that even my SDM4065A bench multimeter does. I suppose with the adapter attached it is easier for very tiny capacitive coupled ground loop currents to flow. Which isnt a problem with handheld multimeters, or the MHO1 when it isn't connected to an adapter.
