I briefly got excited when I got their Test and Measurement news this morning, but they look a pricey option for the decent spec ones.

It seems to me that the 2205A (2 analog, 16 digital, waveform generator) doesn't overwhelm the Digilent Analog Discovery and it's a couple of hundred dollars more expensive.  Right off the bat, the Analog Discovery has a 14 bit ADC versus 8 bit for the 2205A.  Does it matter?  Well, maybe when you have a display with a whole bunch of pixels.

The 2205A has BNC connectors for the scope channels whereas the AD needs an extra adapter board to gain that funcionality.  The 2205 certainly has better, albeit bigger, packaging.

They do carry a warranty of 5 years though, which is worth noting! :)
