So the 4ch MSO versions are cheaper than the "normal" ones.... ???

Yes, the reason is because DHO has a higher sampling rate when all channels are active:
- DHO5000, 4 and 8 channels, has 4 GSa/sec sampling rate for each channel
- MHO5000, 4 and 6 channels, has 4 GSa/sec (single-channel & half-channel), 2 GSa/s all channels active

I have found not a great quality (but better than nothing) image of the MHO5000 4 channels model.
We can see the AWG output next to MSO.

I hope Rigol will spin off an MHO1000 as well. It's a strange gap in their lineup that the DHO1000 and 4000 series are only available as plain DSOs.

Martin72:
Batronix has now also listed them and they also have no pictures of the 4-channel scopes.
Then I took a look at the somewhat confusing data sheet.
Nothing new under the Rigol sun, the FFT is as meager as ever and will probably never be touched again.
And why the Bode plot only goes up to 25 MHz, but the internal generator goes up to 50 MHz, remains Rigol's secret.
