New Rigol DS1022z-E scope (no, not the DG1022z AWG!)

I don't spend much time looking at entry level stuff but today I found out by accident that there is a new variant of the widely loved DS1054z, just now with only 2 channels but also with 200MHz BW.

The new scope is called DS1022z-E:

I just mention it because I couldn't remember being seen mentioned here at all (and a search for 'DS1022z' comes up with instances where people typo'd 'DG1022z'). Maybe this is old new but if so search didn't reveal anything.

So, there you go. Another option for an ultra-cheap scope. If as it looks like it's essentially just a DS1054z with two channels removed then it I'd think it could be a very decent starter scope.

Indeed. If you search for Rigol or Siglent and you don't find a bloody flame war of R vs S, you're searching wrong!

So it wasn't a paranormal phenomenon.
