As soon as you drive them out of the lot their value drops considerably. Explains why ebay is doing well with 2nd hand gear ;) |

Stuff like network analyzers that cover 26.5GHz and beyond still command pretty steep prices (even if they are a fraction of the original purchase price). Same goes for wideband oscilloscopes. |
