Newark Element charges shipping on email licenses
« on: July 16, 2014, 01:17:33 am »
I ordered an Agilent license key from Newark which arrived in the typical manner via email . Much to my surprise they sent me an invoice that included $46.00 for shipping!! Needless to say I was on the phone and received at full credit. We are a small company so we caught this but seeing and paying shipping charges on an invoice may not always get questioned. I am sure this was not an oversight by Newark just more bad business.

Their internet provider must charge them a lot for bandwidth ;)

Database setup mistake? it happens.

I ordered an Agilent license from Farnell (Element 14).

I received a large padded envelope (45x32cm). Inside that was another padded envelope (35x24cm)
Inside that was my License Entitlement Certificate which was an A4 sheet of paper.
At least they didn't charge P&P :)
