@Rich@RohdeScopesUSA

Please post a link to download the firmware fro the NGE103B  from, if possible without the need to register.

I have found

https://www.rohde-schwarz.com/de/firmware/nge100b/

but one needs to register there and the registration software does not work properly and is unresponsive.

It did work when I registered last month. It's just like any other system: you sign up, get a confirmation email with a link you have to click. That's all.

Unfortunately, not always it seems. My registration is also stuck, leaving me unable to get firmware for my LCX200 or NGM202. I was looking at an MXO4 scope as well, but if I'm unable to download firmware, maybe not!

And I finally had this time-out or something, and now it's complaining about my email not being a "company" one.

So they'll sell anybody an instrument on RS or Newark/Element14, but if you want firmware? That's unfortunate.

Same for me. This must be new. Can't even download firmware through GLORIS.

That's not unfortunate, that's absolutely unacceptable. R&S should fix this as soon as possible.

What were they thinking?

Edit: Sent a PM to pdenisowski, and will also inquire directly at R&S.

Okay, I could register with one of my private email addresses after another address was rejected for not being a "company" one |O, but firmware download links in GLORIS still end up nowhere, even when I'm logged in. They must have made more than one mistake when revising the website.

It's good that tomorrow is a public holiday in Bavaria.  8)

Recently FW updates and SW were available on R&S product pages, but know "Premium content access" is required. :wtf:
Even Keysight provides FW without much fuss. When did things change in R&S?

Hi Everyone - for some reason I didn't get the tag on this - sorry I didn't catch this earlier.  Please don't ever hesitate to PM me directly.

With respect to the new log-in requirements, I can only say I'm sorry.  It wasn't a choice that any of us wanted (and to be honest, we found out at the same time you all did), but it is something that is a requirement moving forward.  Because of so many registrations (and how quickly this happened), there have been some hiccups, but we're working to make it easier/better.  Again, I apologize and wish this wasn't something we were required to do.

In the end, I hope you all realize that we truly do value each of you as a customer - big or small.

-Rich

R&S is really messing up their support, it seems.

I registered on their support site for downloads and I have been able to download firmware updates recently.

Just now I tried to check for a firmware update again and logged in. I now needed to click a button to gain access to "premium content". When I did, I received a confirmation mail that my request was being processed. 6 minutes later I received an e-mail telling me my request was rejected!

So, I bought 3 R&S products over the past years and now their system rejects requests for firmware updates. Apparently my business isn't premium enough.

I just tried to update the firmware on my NGE100 and found that it's discontinued for the 100B, and I can't find the firmware for the 100? Only thing available for download is the software. I'm running v1.5
