HP8920B Agilent
« on: August 15, 2021, 05:01:37 am »
Hello, I need help with the HP8920B communication monitor, when I run the rf test on the receiver module, I have the message "Receiver Assembly (low)" in the 100MHz 614.3MHz IF and 500MHz 114.3MHz IF tests. I've already disconnected all the cables and boards and cleaned everything up, but the glitch remains. this failure decreases when the HP8920B is on for more than 3 hours, but it does not disappear. sorry for my bad english.

I would consult a service manual, if you can find one.

In that regard, I am not the guy.  However, perhaps the symptom is mentioned in the service manual.  It would pay to at least look for it.

It pains me to own something I can't maintain.  I do have to face reality and realize I can't fix all the stuff I have but at least I try to dig a little.

I am totally unfamiliar with that unit.  Parhaps you could post on groups.io or whatever it's called for the Agilent aficionados.  Wait - let me look.

Try this:  HP-Agilent-Keysight-equipment@groups.io
