Title: OQ 0260 ASIC failure for which generation of Fluke scopemeters?
Post by: shockpoint on June 12, 2024, 12:43:04 am
Hi all,

based on research on this and other forums it seems that the Philips OQ 0260 ASIC chip in a few models of scopemeters including the 99, 97, 192, 196, 199, were causing trace problems.
I also understand that sourcing the OQ 0260 is quite difficult
Is there a rule of thumb of which models have this rare chip in them?

I am looking at a 105B scope meter and I am wary of purchasing it because if it breaks then I do not have the means to repair it - I have done a search for OQ0260 scraps on ebay but they don't come cheap!
