Hello,
I received a DSO1062S (isolated portable scope) to make mains (Europe, 230VAC) measurement.
It will be more conveniant for me to use banana leads instead of standard probe to connect the scope to socket adapter or light fixture adapter.
My question : can I use a regular BNC=>banana converter or shoud I buy aswell a 10:1 attenuator (like this one
http://hantek.eu/attenuator-xfa-10-1-mc.html) ?
Characteristics of the scope let me think it will be ok but I am not sure about it and don't want to fry my new toy :-)
If I buy this attenuator I should set probe parameter in the scope to 10X, correct ?
And if I don't, I should set 1X I guess but then the volt/div would be exceeded ?
Thank you !
