Siglent SDS2104X+ hard shell carry case HC-1

Living in Asia, was told by the local Siglent agent that the hard-case is only available in the USA market and they won't sell it.
They will only help to sell it if there are more customer to fulfill an MOQ demand.

It seems Siglentna.com website does not offer shipment to Asian destinations either. (not even to China) 

Before making more attempts finding ways to get one from Siglent US by myself, does anyone use the hard case with the size of the SDS2X0X+ products ? Pro's and Con's ?

Using imperial dimensions, a search points to the "Apache 4800" with the same dimensions. Perhaps someone can confirm who used that one. the only thing left would be to get some foam to cut.

Yes, thanks, 18" is over 45cm, not 43cm

I decided will source it from China as the Siglent or Apache case seem not source-able from the US. and then there is freight.

How much foam should there be between the unit and case ?.
Any experience. it seems the HC-1 gives about 5cm top and bottom.

Both Siglent and Apache 4800 claim 18" x 12 7/8" x 7 5/8" inner dimension which is around 200mm
but does not match with the same model on HarborFreight.com or Alibaba.
Note that some cases have only 2 locks.

After checking with the manufacturer of GD5019, they recommend use EVA25 or EVA35 foam instead of the supplied foam which is too soft. The top shell is 44mm, so perhaps use a solid 40mm EVA foam in the top cover and bottom + a 40+60mm cut layer for the scope itself and then a thin layer with holes for only  the knobs.  For hardness, it must be soft enough to not break the knobs on shock and stiff enough to prevent the knobs to slam into the top cover.....

Perhaps this helps those not located in the US to find an affordable alternative
