max-bit:
An interesting review of high-frequency measurement electronics.

Many different devices. However, I was particularly interested in Chinese Siglent products

In the past, this company was considered cheap products from the lower shelf (lower than Rigol)
And now ?
A spectrum analyzer up to 26.5GHz
4GHz 20Gs and 12bit oscilloscope
it's no longer fun and jokes
I don't know what the ICs are based on (especially the Chinese are uphill from the USA)
But it's worth taking disasembly:)
Probably someone will say that the leading measuring companies (Tek, HP (Agilent, Keysight or LeCroy) had such solutions more than 10 years ago, but the Chinese do not give up and if the semiconductors were their own product, and that makes you think.
