Title: OWON SDS7102V - basic image, but buttons not working and no signal visible

As per title.
Used the oscilloscope for a year now without problems, but all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore (essentially since yesterday).
It boots, then there is the normal oscilloscope screen visible, but no signal and the buttons don't work.
Anyone experienced this before?
Tried the search for 5 minutes, but didn't see anything applicable.

PS: Purchased via Aliexpress, so can't just send it back.

Update

I removed the battery, switched it on and after having written the above post and some reading in the service manual to come back to it working again.  :o
With the buttons working I did a self calibration and autoset and it's behaving normally now *fingers crossed*.
