Hello
I am trying to display the difference between two curves, so I use the Math button and I see the extra curve on the screen (green). I am doing CH1 - CH2. Because the difference is small, the new curve is almost a straight line. If I try to change the V/div for CH1 and CH2, I get junk on the screen, if CH1 or CH2 exceed the screen boundaries.
Does anyone know how to change the display so that I can "zoom in" the Math curve so as to be able to measure it accurately?
Also does anyone know how to hide CH1 and CH2 when I am in Math mode?
My SDS7102V has software of 2.6.2

Hi akis,
I don't know if you are still looking at this but, If you if you go into the horizontal menu while the math function is displayed there is a zoom option there.
However, I did notice that if I move either ch1 or ch2's waveform so it is partially off screen it will affect the resulting math waveform.
In otherwords, it looks to me as though measurements of the waveform come from the screen display rather than somewhere in memory.
It seems to do this also in the measure options where if I move the waveform slightly off screen the measurements seem to get wonky. (it would be nice if there was a math option in addition to ch1/ch2 for the source as well in measure)
Anyway, I'm a total noob to both electronics and this scope, so take what I have to say with the grain of salt as you are talking to a rookie :).
So far I'm liking the scope. I'm running 2.7.4 and thinking of going to the newer software of 2.8.1.

look carefully version what is compatible for your oscilloscope.

After one people report, I have looked instructions included with upgrade package.
It looks like only these green can upgrade to 2.8.3 where is also Math menu new features for scale and vertical shift.
Then inquiry:
If someone in Finland have SDS8102V please send me PM. Specially if it is littlebit older unit example serial numer SDS810211xxxxx (made 2011). (Also SDS8202 is ok)
