OWON / VEVOR SDS1102 probe tips

(1/2) > >>

Elecmuso:
Is there a trick to removing the tips on the provided scope probes (OW3100)? I have tried with a lot of force to pull them off, any more force I feel could damage them. Is it just a case of pulling harder??!!

thm_w:
Some probe tips unscrew, some probe tips unclip.
Try to unscrew them first, if they just spin forever then they should unclip and you just need to pull a bit harder. They may get easier with use.

Fairly sure those are clip ones, you could check the manual too if there is one.

Elecmuso:
Cheers. Already checked / searched the scope manual and the separate manual for the probes. Not mentioned anywhere!

Aldo22:
The first time they are often a bit tough.
I had my doubts too, but it worked with pulling. (But they were not from Owon)

Do they look like this? (From: https://www.amazon.de/OWON-HDS200-Handoszilloskop-Labor-Oszilloskope/dp/B0BX6KMYM2?th=1 )

TizianoHV:
I have an OWON VDS1022I too. I had the same problem. If you want to remove the tip you have to pull a LOT.

After some time they started making bad contact and I had to repair them. So you should avoid remooving them often.

Now I just keep one with the tip and the other without.
