Pass/fail mask test on Rigol DS1000Z series
« on: October 28, 2022, 04:35:30 pm »
I need to use a scope to check some waveforms in an automated test equipment. I was thinking of using a cheap DS1000 and do a pass/ fail test but I can’t find commands to load a mask that was created manually and saved on the external USB drive. Can DS1000 read from the external drive through a command or it is only manual?

Cheers,
Miti

I can't see any SCPI commands to load/save the masks.

It looks like they have to be loaded/saved manually.

The SCPI command ':MASK:DATA' exists, it is described in the DS2000A programming manual. In the SCPI commands read from the DS1000z the command is present, only not documented. I don't have a DS1000Z anymore, so I can't test it.

Thanks Peter, it works like a charm!
