Pintech HVP 39pro (HVHF scope probe)
« on: December 28, 2023, 11:08:18 am »
The Pintech HVP 39Pro is a <40kV 50MHz oscilloscope probe.

The first small flyback transformer is driven by a 12v 16kHz 40% duty DC square wave.

The second is a 50Hz 240v 6kV bug zapper transformer and driven with a 50Hz "modified sine" wave inverter (stepped AC square wave approximating a sine wave).

The frequency and voltage checks true based on spark gap but I have no idea what the waveform should look like, is this what you'd expect?

I tested it against the 10x probe in left column, 1000x probe in right column.
