I just thought some here would enjoy this video by YT channel Playing with Junk. It covers the NIXIE tube modules user in HP gear of mid '60's vintage with a discussion on the Neon lamp/photosensitive resistor circuit and discrete flip-flop circuit used to drive the displays. It gives some inside view of the 5201L near the end.

It reminded me of another (sadly short lived and defunct) YT channel "The Dinosaur Den" featuring Fran Blanche and Bil Herd which also had a segment discussing these interesting modules.

And that also reminded me of the episode Alan Wolke W2AEW appeared.
