TS100 + drill battery is by far the best option I've found. Gas irons are pretty terrible as the temp is uncontrolled and they are very susceptible to wind. If you must, I've found Iroda to be the best - Weller pyrpopens look good but they've often let me down for various reasons. Unfortunately many soldering stations use AC phase-angle control so non-trivial to convert to battery operation.
