Working outside today and reminded that if I had a way to simulate direct sunlight, I would have added to my testing. Second photo was after maybe 20 seconds from moving it inside the trailer. |

Reminds me of my "fail of the day", as I forgot a Fluke87 on the top of a resistive loadbank...under power... Display was black.. :scared: But after cooling it down, everything was fine... :phew: |

I'll also bet it has the digits 8, 3 and 0 on the number. It could either be the UV or the IR that killed it. How long was it out in the sun? Edit: I guess if it was the heat then it could die in a few minutes. |
