Title: Problem with Uni-T UT501A

I have Uni-T UT501A insulation resistance meter. It has worked well until recently but not anymore.
I tried measuring insulation resistance of an induction motor, but the meter does not generate test voltage. The test voltage reading stays zero and no sound can be heard. Normally a buzzing sound is heard when the measurement is ongoing.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there anything I can do?

I would say open it up and check if something is wrong. If your lucky the damage is clearly visible... If not, start checking all components.
