| Problems with USB oscilloscope trigger |

| Captain autism:
Hello everyone. Recently I acquired a USB oscilloscope (Hantek 6022BE) and it has been giving me quite a few problems, namely with the trigger. I have attached a video in which the problem can be seen: https://youtu.be/Ce1RPKmSjQI This is not an ongoing situation, meaning, sometimes it works just fine and some other times it does this. The problem is that I don't know what causes it to malfunction: is the hardware broken? is it a problem with the software? etc. The only thing that I can think of to solve this issue is to install an alternative firmware. Has anyone had any success with this approach? Thanks in advance. |

Does it happening have any correlation to when the laptop is running on battery and mains isolated vs not? Laptop can be a bit weird when it comes to earthing, which may mess up triggering. Also, if your laptop is charging vs not it may have an effect as well. |

Where is your horizontal trigger point? |
