Hi Folks,
I may entertain the idea of another bench supply. I typically use a variety of switch mode single/multiple output voltage supplies. There is a used TP340A or Rigol clearance DP821).
I've always been intrigued by the TP340A look, but I wish for more current at the higher voltages (I also use a Micronta dual output tracking supply, but 1A limit is cumbersome).
The Rigol is not much more. Well, it is considerably more, but the difference of two nickels vs one is not really that much... I have seen (not read) discussions mostly about the Rigol DP832A, but have not looked much into any PS. I think I like the idea of 60V or 10A of the DP821, and I would just like that supply better. I also like the idea of 3 outputs, probably less than CV/CC operation, however.
Can someone fill in some of the high level items I should consider?
It is just for a casual hobby bench, not likely to need remote programming.
