I just recently bought my very first ESR tester (model  QPLCR ) and i'm struggling with a few things
1- The language is in chinese if someone knows a trick to enable english i'd be grateful
2 - No manual so i guess i'll have to learn by myself (i'm a total newbie in the ESR test world)

Thanks you are a savior on this one

QPLINK LCR 1S? These tweezers are a voltmeter, continuity tester with beep, and LCR bridge. The tweezers are supplied with a small calibration board and torx screwdriver. The small calibration board only has resistors placed; capacitors and inductances are missing.
The most common measurement I do is checking voltage across SMD components, so I chose QPLINK instead of ZOYI and FNIRSI.
I like these tweezers. My other measuring instruments are in cupboards; these tweezers are within arms length on my desk.

Thanks a lot for the user manual for LCR 1S! Do you also happen to know if a FW update is available (or have a link to QPLink site)?

I have played a bit with the tweezers and it looks like the 100kHz mode is a bit gimmicky and not really a fully functional one. For example it refuses to measure caps above 1nF at 100kHz (although the manual stated it should work).

Surprisingly there are a few features supported in the cheaper models (FNIRSI, ZOYI, Aneng etc.) that are missing here. For example the measurements recording, diode polarity detection etc.

Overall I am not sure the higher asking price of LCR S1 is justified unless the additional functionality it has is a must have for the intended usage.

What color did you guys receive? as it seems to be luck of the charm what color they ship, and not something the third-party sellers on Aliexpress seem to have any saying in..

Also purchased one at the singles day sale where the prices dropped quite a bit.
Recived the gold/beige variant.
The build does seem a step up, vs Fnirsi ST1 or Zoyi MD1 with its aluhousing etc' though the rattling buttons, certainly doesn't do it any favors, and it also got what looks like an accelerometer, so it will adjust orientation on the fly, though not a feature that I was in need for, but you can obviously lock it, so it stays as one prefers..
It looks to have the labeled 100, 120, 1K, 10K & 100K frequency selection, and 0.1v, 0.3v and 0.6v voltage.

Noticed that many of the more expensive LCR tweezers like fx *LCRPro1 also settle for the 120Hz option and not just the 100Hz.. (*100, 120, 1K, 10k, 100k)
Seems to be targeted markets with 60hz and full-wave rectification that summons at 120Hz, while the 100 Hz is useful for 50 Hz mains regions..
Thx for posting the manual.

Also picked up one of each of these relative cheap adjustable test boards, one with inductors [1uH-2.2mH], resistance [0-9999999.9Ω], and capacitance [0-11.11111uF]
and see how ST1, MD1 and 1S stack up.

And is there a website for the manufacturer of these tweezers? For example, to get new firmware.
