What color did you guys receive?

I got a blue one.

QPLINK LCR 1S
And is there a website for the manufacturer of these tweezers? For example, to get new firmware.

I was not able to find out.

Recently bought this QPLINK QPLCR-1S which came without a manual. Downloaded the qplcr-1s manual linked to earlier in this topic.

On page 4 of this manual it describes a 'peeling function'. Anyone an idea what is meant by that? It is not explained and not in the menu.

Likely an attempt to remove parasitic effects from your measurement.. like parallel-resistance on capacitors, and parasitic inductance or capacitance on resistors but I don't know how it works in practice on 1S.

I think this is referring to the "tare" or "zero" function of the third button from the left. Peeling appears to be a translation error.

I ordered a set of these based on this thread. I received a purple color I have not seen elsewhere. I like these much more than I expected to. I'm going to open it maybe, and when I do I'll photograph the insides. Perhaps I'll even hook it up to an o-scope to see it the frequency and voltage settings are actually as stated.

If you hold down the buttons on the edge in the off state, the inscription "BootLoader" appears.
If you connect to a PC in this state, a disk with the name "QPLCR1S-IAP" will appear.

If only I could find the firmware developer...

"let me verify for you"

Tri3d today to bump again for a reply... will update if it turns out to be anything useful.
