Question about the Rigol DG1022Z DC Offset
« on: January 11, 2020, 02:44:36 am »
The DG1022Z specs say it can output 10v pp. Does that it mean it could output a 0 to 10v pulse, or would it be limited to 0 to 5? Reading the manual and other information about the function generator I see how the DC offset can be adjusted, but there are no examples of creating a wave that starts at 0v.

Is 20Vpp max. But with a DC offset it go down up to 10Vpp at the maximum DC offset of 5V.
Yes, you can output a 0 to 10V pulse.
What do you mean with, start at 0? no DC offset, or the phase?

Thanks for the reply. By 'Starts at 0' I meant a pulse that goes from 0 to 10v.

Yes. You need to set an amplitude of 10Vpp and an offset of 5V
