Question: Dual tone from a fy3200s
« on: February 14, 2018, 05:15:48 pm »
So i want to generate a dual tone from a fy3200S

I think I can just use the two channels and use either a star or delta resistive splitter/combiner to achieve it.
i'm not so sure what the harmonics would look like though.

what id rather do is create an arbitrary waveform with the two tones, but have no idea how to accomplish that.
not that i don't know how to use the tool, but i don't know how to generate the right data to plug in.

any thoughts on either method or anything i have thought of?
Hobbyist and a retired engineer and possibly a test equipment addict, though, searching for the equipment to test for that.
