Unisource DM-1150B Multimeter 0 info Online?
« on: June 05, 2019, 09:18:38 am »
Summary,
HP / Agilent 34401A and/or Fluke 87v.   For my purposes, owning both is the best option (Continuity)

Thank you for providing a forum to gather information and take notes.

Speacial thanks to: vcsiii50

Just tell me what you think of
https://www.tequipment.net/unisource/multimeters/ Vici and other Chinese model changing many names on same device. $84 to $145 USD depending on model at one peice.

Rest are notes and comments.

From what I can see, if you can get old meters in good shape with AC and GPIB options then pretty cool.                  Other than that, best thing to do is save for a bit longer and get a  Rigol DM3058E vs agilent 34401a

Hello,
Trying to decide between a Fluke 8840a with AC option, Fluke 8842a and Instek GDM-8251A .

Then I came across Unisource DM-1150B.

The first three have plenty of information and reviews, the Unisource has 0 info in forums and online but did find one reveiw on a Unisource dm-1140b on Amazon.

The 1140b looks to just have manual range.

Anyhow, I can choose one bench multimeter, it will be my only one and it will be my only one for a very long time.

Thank you,
Any and all advice is highly appreciated.

VC8145 looks the builders.  Unisource is Vici renamed or other way around.

Well, do I go for old Fluke or the most expensive one on this page:

Well just read no continuity on the Flukes.
Not looking for lab test. Looking for service tech bench.
