« on: October 04, 2015, 05:55:08 pm »
hi  i just bought a new reed r5030 clamp meter and i am quite impress with it, as anyone check the accuracy on that brand of meter until now the amp and ohm reading seem's to be quite accurate. I don't have a the best equipment to test them but comparing the readout with my fluke 321 the reading are consistently the same a tare down and testing of this meter would be interesting

Your Reed clamp meter is made by CEM Instruments.  A variation or updated version of this model

It will be interesting to see what the solder quality looks like on the inside.  CEM Instruments has very poor soldering processes in their factories as evidenced by multimeter teardowns shown here.  Maybe the clamp meter will be better?
