Removing the front panel of a Siglent SSA3021X
(1/1)
amaschas:
I've recently acquired a Siglent SSA3021X that seems to have a problem with the control knob rotary encoder. I'm trying to remove the plastic front panel to examine what's going on, but I can't seem to get it off and I'm afraid of using force and breaking it. I've followed the process in the service manual, removed the back panel and all of the screws holding the front panel to the back, but something appears to still be holding it on. Is there a trick to doing this?

There seems to be a screw under the decal next to the TG port.
amaschas:
Oh my god that was totally it. I would never have found that for the life of me, thank you! I can't believe that with all the work Siglent put into this thing to make it easy to take apart, they would hide a screw under a decal like that.
