Updated Aneng AN8002, calibration procedure?
« on: November 18, 2023, 03:35:38 pm »
Hi all,

I never was really interested in those little Anengs, but now I got this updated black version of the AN8002. Its autoranging is really speedy and it is a nice little fun meter. It is well in specs, but when I tried to tweak a little more I found there is no EEPROM like in the old version and the PCB layout apparently has changed considerably. The calibration data might be stored in the main processor now? I tried the old AN8002 calibration procedure with bridging some of the solder joints but without success.
Anyone has this new version and figured out how it is calibrated or which processor they probably use?
Best,
Patrick
