Picked up a inexpensive Rogol DSO1052E for a decent price, but the probes that came with (I assume they are the originals) didn't come with the retractable hook caps. Anyone know if replacements are available anywhere? I found some on eBay but it's not clear if they'll fit the Rigol probes or not.

PS: I did some searching of the forums and couldn't find an answer to this.

Those look similar in function to the originals, but I can't guarantee they will fit.
You might just want to buy some entire probes, since the cost is only a few dollars more than the caps.

If you can get one for $2 then give it a try, but don't be too hopeful.
OTOH you can get decent new probes for under $10.

Why don't you contact the seller and ask if those are compatible with your probes? also send a photo of your probs for him to check. it's better than waiting for something that may not fit.

I noticed the probes in the aliexpress link are listed as fitting (amongst others) 'PP2200'. The probes I have are RP2200 (I think) - maybe they'll fit??? In any case, they're cheap, so I ordered a few. Will post the fitment results here when I receive them. In the meantime, I have some Tektronix probes around somewhere, but the replacement caps will probably come in before I figure out where those Tek probes are. ::)

Just an update on this in case anyone is interested. The cheap AliExpress probe clips I ordered fit and work just fine on the probes I received with the scope (I assume the probes are original but who knows). Not sure how durable the clips will be over the long term but initially things look good.
