Hello,

I was looking for R&S software review, especially to control a RTB2000 via LAN network using RScommander. I wanted to know how the oscilloscope interface works and how eaily it can be configured remotely.

You don't generally need any software for most remote operation on the RTB - you have a full front-panel interface via the web interface, and using the USB interface you can pull various file formats of the latest capture off a virtual USB drive

Thanks, that's good news, I didn't know how RTBs behaved once plugged. If they contain a tiny web server and http interface that's perfect.
I want buy that for work because  they use 10 "real" bits ADCs and seems to be very good for the price

Oh Mike by the way, I was looking at your review of the Owon vds3104 last night,
great teardown and demo of the software ! I'll buy one of these as well for field operations, only 8 bits but they are ok for the job.

For portable use, unless you really need the small size, I'd go for the Micsig Tbook Mini over the Owon - bigger screen, more traces, better UI

If you are on Linux you could give http://lxi-tools.github.io a try. It recently gained screenshot support for the RTB2000 series (tested with RTB2004).
