Acoustic cameras, anyone?

Some time ago, I discovered a tool that would be really cool to have: an acoustic camera. Here's one, for example: https://web2.norsonic.com/product-cat/acoustic-camera

However, those things are expensive — even more so than most thermal cameras. That being the case, has anyone here ever used an acoustic camera? If so, got any interesting pictures to share?

I watched the video of the Korean device in the other thread.  Not sure I see the point.  Aren't your own ears sufficient for telling where noise is coming from?

More interesting, IMO, would be a DIY sound imaging (sonar) setup.  Back when I was playing with synthetic-aperture imaging in grad school, I thought it would be great fun to load a cart with a good microphone and digital recorder, then push it along the sidewalk in front of the Beckman Institute, lighting off small firecrackers every six inches, to see what kind of image one could obtain.
