I am having trouble finding a Rigol Agent in New Zealand.
Can anyone recommend any or even in Australia?

Yeah, no official dealer it seems. Many people have asked this

Got to be good niche business opportunity for someone in NZ!

I would go through Tautech - he's a member on here. He is also the NZ Siglent agent. Fantastic service.

Thanks Will.

Yes I looked at Rigol in the early days but Mastec already had Rigol and I was discouraged by Rigol's only 300V inputs on their scopes.
With SMPS being so prevelent and primary voltages within them ~325V in NZ (230VAC mains), I knew 400V scope inputs would be a safer bet, for customers and warranty claims.

But in this day and age of parallel importing......

Yes if you want a Rigol I can source them.

http://www.mastec.co.nz/ it seems
"Technical Products & Solutions Distributor since 1989" -- and they still operate the original website, it appears ;-)

I got my Rigol gear from Mastec and Emona. Mastec source from Emona anyway.

Emona charge flat rate shipping (I think AUD40) and with the AUD being so depressed right now I'd suggest dropping them a line.

Hi Bart - We (Emona) do supply direct to NZ and are the authorized distributor . You can order from our web shop as we have shipping there to NZ and offer this shipping at our cost to make it more affordable. If you do purchase from ourselves (or Mastec) you are getting official warranty support. While this is (for now) done in Australia at our Sydney based service department we can subsidize the freight cost to get it here and back if there are any service issues.  If you have any questions on this please PM me.

Thanks.
Disclosure : I work for Emona Instruments. We are a supplier of T&M equipment in Australia and are the Australian Distributors for Rigol. www.emona.com.au/rigol
