Post by: hugos31 on May 25, 2014, 10:20:21 pm
hello friends. accidentally; 24vdc introduced in CH1. currently; (channel 1).  not emit signal. only sale-15v dc  ..,,,,,,,,,,,,I keep track of the output circuit (channel 1) I found chip output signal (8-pin smd) with aluminum heatsink, id code cleared (scraped),,,, Please i need  code? for reeplazar

We know what the front panel looks like - take a picture of the circuit around the chip!

It's probably just a high output current, somewhat high speed, high slew rate op amp. Check how it's connected. You might be able to substitute without knowing the part number.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's just an op amp. You're looking for something in the neighborhood of an LM7171 (http://www.ti.com/product/lm7171), but with a thermal pad on the bottom.

Double-check that it's actually failed, though. Put it back in circuit, leave off the heat sink, set to a large output amplitude but do not terminate the output (the goal is to have zero current draw - nothing through the attenuators, as there would be at small amplitude, and nothing out the BNC - in which case it shouldn't need the sink), at low frequency. Probe the inputs and see if it behaves like an op amp.

  :-+ .  ok  I test  lm7171

No, please don't actually use an LM7171 - I said to find something with a thermal pad. That's just a bit too much heat for a 7171 (which is not available in a high power package).

OPA541  ???.  Please review the datasheet you posted.

Compare the slew rate and gain bandwidth of the opa541 or 454 to the lm7172. The opa541 is not even the correct package.

Have you tested the opamp yet?

I wonder if hugos31 has reeplazared the OpAmp yet.

Hello everybody
There is an inductor in output section of DG1022, it has been crashed, is anyone know how the value is?

It's a common mode choke and the exact replacement part number is ACM4532-901-2P.   A while back,  I blew the same choke in mine as well.  Since it was difficult to find that exact one at the time,  I used a close replacement from Digikey  -  https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/wurth-electronics-inc/744235601/732-4221-1-ND/3672769 (https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/wurth-electronics-inc/744235601/732-4221-1-ND/3672769)  -  It has been working fine ever since.
