Title: Rigol DG1022z PC communication

Hi all,
I'm trying to setup Ultrawave for uploading arb functions to my newly acquired DG1022z to no avail.
Ultrawave seems to be correctly installed because it recognises my DS1054z as a USB device and it even tries to connect to it but that's not the case with the DG1022z.
What could be the issue?
I've not seen anything on the net confirming that the 1022z is working with Ultrawave but I'm really hoping I'm doing something wrong because it would be great to upload arb functions to it.
Anyone have any ideas?


Edit: To answer my own question it seems that the ultrawave program is for the dg1022 not the 1022z.I've installed ultrastation  and it detects the hardware okay.I can now upload hand drawn waves etc

Did you try turning off firewall or any other programs that may interfere? Just a guess?

I wonder if there is a student discount on the ultrastation software.The math functions are great to have and very easy to use but the trial willl only last 15 days..
