I find this feature quite nice, until just now i tried it out for the first time. I wanted to capture some rather slow reset signals, so i tried it first with creating signals by tapping the probe on 3V by hand. My understanding is, that it will take x captures or x seconds before it displays the curves. (Unfortunately the timeout only goes to 1s! |O) While trying it by hand, i found, that it will just randomly copy curves sometimes even 5 times (!). There cant be hardware or software limitations, that it can only go to 1s can there? It does not matter how many samplepoints i set. I somehow got the feeling, that not much time has been put into testing this product, before it hit the market... |

This function is so buggy for me, that's why I gave it up. the software freezes several times. |

I'm afraid "UltraAquire" is just a marketing ploy, designed to enable Rigol to put high waveforms/second figures and a "unique feature" into the datasheet. It is not meant to be actually used. :-\ |
