If you like to beta test instead of getting work done. I've had it for almost two days.  LOTS of bugs.

I just got the RIGOL DHO924S, with the PLA2216 logic analyzer accessory.  It's given me the "RIGOL.SCOPE app has stopped" (with a restart button) and the "RIGOL.SCOPE app keeps stopping" (with a close button).  And it has LOTS of other bugs in the UI.  Also, I received 20 leads and 20 grabbers with the $400 accessory, they show it is supposed to have 32 of each.

It should be a very fine instrument- but how many releases past the current v1.01 firmware will it take to make it prductive?  It crashed (as above) after just a couple hours of use (and I thought it was bricked until I left it un-powered for a couple of hours), and again tonight after just an hour, but I powered down and restarted (my setup was gone, despite having selected to load the last used setup on powerup).  It powers up with Chan 1 enabled, and set as the trigger (I guess, the factory default).

Hold off until you can read lots of reviews.  The DHO900 series has a lot of promise... but grossly under-delivers.  And I get paid to do work that requires a scope, and plenty of other T&M stuff.  I have never found a single bug in another piece of T&M equipment. (for decades)
