Been running through a repair (again!) and recalibration on my DP832, it occurred to me that this is a pretty good PSU, but it's getting a bit long in the tooth. I asked the question, has there been any mods done recently? The answer was 'yes' and it comes in the form of a couple of new, at least new to me, models. I can't see that the DP900 is much of a step, but the DP2000 has a couple of interesting features, including better accuracy on output values (V & I), better resolution of current output and, a feature I've missed on my box, 4-wire voltage output, I. E. Its got voltage sense control, a real boon for high current applications. There's very few reviews out there, however. Has any one of you guys/gals got one of these puppies? Is it worth the outlay? |

I've just got DP932E. Main improvements over DP832 are: - quick setting (larger touch-up screen), - low-noise fan, - internal parallel/serial connectivity of CH1 and CH2 (max 6A/60V), - 3 independent (separated) output channels (CH1 30V/3A, CH2 30V/3A, CH3 6V/3A). |
