Title: Rigol DP832

Is it still possible to keygen the latest version of the BP832?  I'm thinking of buying a new one....  Also I've gone to the web site and it asks for the serial number, upgrade code and private key.  The first two are easy enough but is the private key easy to locate or do I need to hack into it?

I was doing this to my unit yesterday... The private key is generated from your sn, I believe. I don't believe the firmware was patched. Also inserting those keys is a pain.

So all you needed to do was get your serial number and type it into the web site with the code of the additional thing you want and it generates the code you type into your PSU?  How old/what version software/hardware is your's if you don't mind me asking...

Just found out I can get the 100 off price for the DP832 from Rapid  :)   

I'm taking a teaching qualification via UCLAN so I will be a QT and can teach at work......  I've been accepted but enrolment isn't for three weeks.  I'll probably have to wait until then :(

Mine is a couple of years old, I honestly couldn't even find the firmware version when looking for it yesterday, the menu is that cumbersome. I also plan on replacing the fan on mine because it's so noisy I rarely want to use it.

Hello

i try too upgrade my DP832 with Riglol 1.03d but i only get (Installation fails )   :-//
i have try all 5 options
What am i doing wrong?

I let it be on for more than 24h,
Then it worked to feed in the codes   ;D
