Title: rigol dp832 acceptable precision

Hello.

Bought a DP832, and straight out the box, it read 0.01v on channel 1, 0.06v on channel 2, 0.00v on channel 3.

I thought this 0.06v atleast on channel 2 was a bit high off. I suspect even off spec, but certainly if one were to buy the high accuracy option. I tried riglol'ing to unlock high accuracy, but i couldnt get it to work, so I just went straight to the hack to "convert" it to a DP832A. Worked great, easily.

now it says 0.005v on channel 1, 0.016v on channel 2, and 0.000v on channel 3.

thats a bit strange, the rounding has then been quite off on channel 2?

this offset seems to follow in the readout no matter where in the 0-32v range I set.

What are your thoughts on this?

Mine (DP832 ... unhacked) gives:
On channel 1, -4 mV
On channel 2, 0.5 mV
On channel 3, 0.1 mV

Just calibrate it then and call it a day.

Mine (DP832 ... unhacked) gives:
On channel 1, -4 mV
On channel 2, 0.5 mV
On channel 3, 0.1 mV

How is your unhacked unit giving you microvolts for readback?

The reported readings were produced using a separate DMM.
