Title: Rigol DP832A manual calibration question
Post by: drummerdimitri on August 13, 2019, 05:31:59 pm
So having OCD I decided to re-calibrate my brand new DP832A without even testing it first. :-DD

I have a brand new 6.5 digit DMM that was recently calibrated and trust its readings more than what instrument Rigol used for their calibration 6 months ago.

Anyway, my question is how can I change the calibration date?I assumed that after entering the numerical values for each calibration point and saving the data, the instrument would automatically update the calibration date.

Is it true that it can only be changed via SCPI calibration?

SCPI command (from attached instructions):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
:CALibration:End 12/31/2014,CH1

Date format MO/DY/YEAR
Note: Replace ‘12/31/2014’ above with your Cal. Date.
