need cal procedure for the HP3478A

hey

I have got any standard needed , just don't know the procedure , can someone instruct me ?

I've rotated the "Cal" rotary swich and the letter "C" is now on screen , then I pushed the shift and thee "cal" buttons , then the device ask " 10.0000 ? " and from there I don't know what's next  :-//

go to agilent.com

under "Electronic Test & Measurement", click on "Manuals"

Find "3478a" using the search box

Download the Service Manual (you may have to register)

Calibration starts on page 4-11 (section 4-48)

(you really should have full cal instructions in front of you, and read them, before you start setting things into cal mode)

the menual is long and I understood that there are few ( I am shure I am wrong but that's my impression)

thank you mikes , I've tweaked the meter and now it reads down to the LSD ( compare to fluke 5700 )
