I just updated my DS2000 scope firmware to the latest version and now none of my Protocol Decoders (specifically RS232) will not work when I set the horizontal sweep above 100ms/div. My initial thought was that Rigol made a change since my last update, but I don't see anything in the release notes. I went ahead and rolled back the firmware version, but still no joy. My next thought was that some parameter got changed (like many do) during the update, but I can't find anything that fixes the issue. Just prior to the update I have been working with a very slow sweep of 1 sec/div and the decoder was working just fine. In fact, I can't recall ever having the scope automatically turning of the decoder (Bus Status).

Has anyone ever experienced this with their DS2000 series scope? Could you verify if your scope turns off the Decode for sweep times over 100ms/div?

Thanks!
