BNC/SMA connectors and crimp tools
« on: December 29, 2014, 01:01:39 am »
A while ago I bought a roll of rg174 to make some cables. I found wildly varying prices for BNC connectors and never got around to ordering any. Now is the time.

1) Is there such a thing as a universal crimper for rg174/rg58?
2) Can anyone recommend a source for adequate BNC/SMA/N connectors?

Yep, I use one all the time. It has several jaws you can install. Get one like this -

I use this Ebay store, they are in China and supply all types of crimp connectors at a good price -

I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.
