EEVBlog DM786 Gone Full Circle? (Edit: Not)
« on: April 07, 2024, 10:28:19 pm »
Here is my EEVBlog BM786 at my rework test station in a short production run I just completed last week in South Korea. I was about to say that the meter has gone full circle, from Korea to Australia and back again. But on further checking, I don't think the Bryman is made here, unlike the 121GW. I should've brought it instead. I have both, but I've been using the BM786 more these days, and I think the reason is silly ... the size and shape of the 121GW make it a bit unstable on its bail. Surprisingly, the BM786 is taller but seems more stable on its bail. Time to 3D print my own custom bail.
